Welcome to our Children’s Ministry here at Missio Dei!
We have both Nursery (0-2 years) and Children’s Church (3 years – 5th Grade) available for your kiddos. All Junior and Senior High Students are invited to join the adults in the main gathering as we desire to see them involved in the life of the church.
We would like to share with you the vision for our Children’s Ministry. We believe our children are a vital part of our mission in making disciples and reaching Fort Collins for the gospel. Not only do we want to teach our kids God’s Word and see them transformed into growing disciples of Jesus, we want to show them that they too are vital to God’s Kingdom, and they have a purpose in His mission.
We want to make our Children’s Church educational and fun with three key core values:
1. To transform our children into disciples of Jesus (this is primarily the role of parents but we want to partner with Dad and Mom).
2. To equip our kids to be on mission with Jesus (John 20:21).
3. To have fun!
How do we implement these three values into our Children’s Ministry?
1. We teach the children the gospel and how the entire Bible points to Jesus and His plan of redemption.
2. We teach the children the mission of God, and instill in the kids that they are a vital part of God’s mission through lessons and outreach projects.
3. We make it fun…through age appropriate music, games and crafts the kids will look forward to coming and learning God’s Word all the while having fun.
In addition to these important core values we are also committed to implementing is structure and safety. We want to provide a safe and consistent atmosphere where kids can come and learn about Jesus without distraction or danger. We do this with classroom rules, and safety policies as well as our sign in and sign out procedures.
