They are small groups where people gather in homes or public places to live life together. But it’s more than just living life; it’s living on mission together as we seek to apply the gospel to all facets of our life; in that sense they are “gospel communities”. The Christian life is not meant to be lived alone. In fact maturity in Christ is not meant to be a solo endeavor it is a community project. Our desire is to multiply these life groups so that eventually we have dozens around the city reaching into our different neighborhoods, and cultures for the sake of the gospel.
We have 5 Mission Groups that meet on various evenings around Fort Collins. If you would like to join a group please contact Will Spicer.
Community
We desire to build community; we want to build lives around each other on a daily–weekly basis rather than just two hours on Sunday.
Spiritual Growth
We believe that holiness and maturity in Christ is not only a solo endeavor but a community project. Therefore we desire to bring the gospel to bear in our lives because this is the only way we can grow in our relationship with Christ. We also desire to see our community be a beautiful mix of pre-Christians who are exploring Christianity, immature believers who may be struggling to follow Christ, and mature Christians who are desiring to make much of Jesus and the gospel.
Service
Using our spiritual gifts to build the Church and bless the city. We don’t want to live as disassembled body parts but as one body using our gifts for the good of one another.
Mission
Our mission is to reach beyond our church to our spheres of influence; transforming our city with the gospel. Our desire is that each person is made to feel as though they belong to our community even if they don’t yet believe. You can belong to us and be blessed by us without believing like us.
